My interest in baroque musical instruments began as ancient music player, but soon the interest became true love, and I spent a lot of time (and vacations) analysing originals belonging to museums across Europe, and '600 and '700 paintings. I make replicas of bowed instruments, using first quality woods, such as Italian spruce for the carved top and flamed European maple for back and sides.
